In The Moment January - June 2022 Mini Catalog Sneak Peak

Hello, all! Thank you for joining me for another Stamping with Friends Blog Hop! For those of you who are unfamiliar, Stamping with Friends is a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators who share our love of card making with you through monthly blog hops with various themes.  This month, we are sharing with you sneak peeks from the January - June 2022 Mini Catalog.  If you've come from  Mo Rootes'  blog, then you saw her project using the  Stampin' Up! Simply Marbleous Designer Series Paper (DSP) . I hope these and the other projects serve to inspire your creativity.   Speaking of catalogs, if you don't have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and would like a catalog, reach out to me. I'd love to get one out to you and to serve as your demonstrator. For my contribution to this blog hop, I chose the "In the Moment" set. I fell in love with this set, "In The Moment", the moment I opened my order and saw it.  This was another of the FREE swag bag produc

Amazing Silhouettes Sneak Peak

Are you ready for some sneak peeks? Current Stampin' Up! demonstrators are able to pre-order from the new January - June 2022 mini catalog and I've just started playing with some of my pre-ordered items.   On today's blog, I'm sharing a simple card using the Amazing Silhouettes stamp set.  I got the stamp set FREE as an OnStage participation gift but had to wait until Dec 1 to order the coordinating die as the stamp set is a part of a bundle (at the time of creating this card, my order hadn't arrived).  I loved this set primarily for its simplicity and the fact that it can be used for all occasions--birthday, thinking of you, sympathy--anything really! So it made sense for me to use this set for a Thursday night "Stamp on the Fly" Facebook Live.  I stamped the image first in Misty Moonlight and then die-cut it with the second largest in the nested scallops die in the Scalloped Contours die set and mounted it on a piece of Night of Navy cardstock.  I didn&#

Stampin' Up! January - June 2022 Product Premier Purchase Unboxing

Hello, crafters! Today, I'm sharing with you an unboxing video...yes a video.  I just received an order from Stampin' Up! that contains my product premier purchases.  What are product premier purchases, you may ask? Every year at OnStage events, Stampin' Up! shares with us demonstrators, previews of products in the upcoming catalog...in this case, the January - June 2022 Mini Catalog...and those demonstrators that attend are able to make purchases from a select number of items before those demonstrators that don't.   Let me share with you, the items that I purchased.  I just got back from a cruise, so I wasn't able to make any items to share with you but take a look.  Don't forget to subscribe, like, and share my videos.  Just a reminder though, today is the last day to become a Stampin' Up! demonstrator with the Start with Savings promotion where for only $75, you can receive $125 in products. Blessings of Home

Another full stampin' weekend! Despite a few technical difficulties, Stampin' Up!'s OnStage At Home 2021 was a success.   What is OnStage you may ask? Every year, in preparation for the upcoming catalog...in this case, the January - June 2022 Mini Catalog...Stampin' Up! hosts an event to debut some of the new products, offer some refresher training to current demonstrators, and recognize the top earners in the Stampin' Up! year.  When you register for OnStage, you are given the opportunity to purchase some items in the upcoming catalog that will be used in the Make and Take session.  This year, that bundle was the Blessings of Home Bundle, a part of the Heart & Home Collection. In a FB Live, I  re-create two of the cards from the Make and Take session using the bundle. You'll see the original version and then my "stepped up" version of the cards.  Don't for get to subscribe to my YouTube channel and click the notification bell 🛎 to be notified

Mystery Monday 11/8/2021 Christmas to Remember

Well, another Mystery Monday Stamping with Sharon Armstrong, Independent Stampin' Up! demonstrator has come and gone and I loved this project. The layout was very simple and only a couple of steps.   A little DSP, some cardstock, a few embellishment and voilà the card is done.    For my project, I knew I needed a couple more Christmas cards so my theme was a given. I then decided on the Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper out of the multiple choices I had from the current Annual and Mini Catalogs. I loved the font used on sentiments in the Christmas to Remember bundle and hadn't used it nearly as much as I wanted to so I had to incorporate that as well.  Lastly, had to add some of the die-cut elements from the Christmas Season Bundle.  Both cards are the same layout, just the reverse side of the DSP...and don't you know it...one card becomes two. Measurements of the card:  1.    Cardstock – 5 ½” x 8 ½”, scored at 4 ¼” 2.  Designer Series Paper – 5 ¼” x 4” 3.  Colore
