CAS the Catty - Perched in A Tree

Are you enjoying my weekly CAS the Catty videos on YouTube?  I know I am! I had so much fun last night CASing the Stampin' Up! July - December 2022 Mini Catalog...I had been wanting to play with this set for a while...and I think the results were amazing!  I took some poetic licenses but pretty much stuck to the cards created by the artists. This was the first card we made ( I actually made a second one).  Measurements: Base: standard A2 (8 1/2" x 5 1/2") scored at 4 1/4" Panel: 4" x 5 1/4" Basic white panel (inside): 4" x 5 1/4", and scrap for sentiment Watercolor paper (6" x 6") should be enough to stamp and die-cut the images. Emboss the panel using the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder Watercolor the bird and the branch For the leaves, on a scrap of watercolor paper; use the watercolor wash technique to apply colors; then die-cut with the leafy die. Stamp and punch the sentiment, then use a sponge dauber or blending brush to apply color

Cottage Rose Best Wishes

A day late and...well I won't finish that...LOL.  I created this card for Sharon Armstrong's Mystery Monday and I must say I like how it came out.  Not exactly monochromatic, but darned near enough...LOL I used the Cottage Rose Bundle, Annual Catalog (2022-2023) which I don't use nearly as often as I should, and colored with Stampin' Blends and added embellishments to finish the project. This card was fun for me...I love most things shiny and what could be shinier than foil and in this case, embossed foil. This card layout is very versatile and can be used for any occasion or season...birthday, thank you, Christmas, Mother's Day and so many more. Measurements: Cardbase: A2 -5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4" Foil (DSP): 2 1/2" x 5 1/2" I hope you enjoy this very simple card and give it a try. Happy Stamping!

If you are following the hop, then you'll have just popped over from  Joy Nelson's Stamp with Joy blog.  I hope you took a minute to leave a comment for her as I'm sure she'll appreciate it just as much as I will. If you are starting the hop with me, thank you so much and I hope you enjoy what I and the other hoppers have prepared for you today! I don't know about you, but I usually have this massive Christmas list...family, friends, co-workers, customers, and business partners...so when I design a Christmas card, it is usually som

October Roll of the Die - Monochromatic Friendship

I don't know whether to love the dice or hate them...boy do they roll some weird combinations, but oh well...we do the best we can to create some awesome projects for you based on them.   Monochromatic is defined as "containing or using only one color" " Monochrome colors are  all the varieties of a single hue - the tints, shades, and tones . A monochromatic color scheme will range between lighter and darker versions of the base color or hue. Here's a sample of the project I made and used as inspiration for today's presentation.  In today's version, I changed up to color palette chose to use the earth tones:  Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Sahara Sand, and Soft Suede...AND...I used the Fitting Florets Stamp set (y'all this is a premier product from the Jan - Jun '23 Mini Catalog)...available to demonstrators only in the month of October (one of the major perks of being a demonstrator)...and their are many perks (ask me about them).   And here's
