CAS the Catty - Perched in A Tree

Are you enjoying my weekly CAS the Catty videos on YouTube?  I know I am! I had so much fun last night CASing the Stampin' Up! July - December 2022 Mini Catalog...I had been wanting to play with this set for a while...and I think the results were amazing!  I took some poetic licenses but pretty much stuck to the cards created by the artists. This was the first card we made ( I actually made a second one).  Measurements: Base: standard A2 (8 1/2" x 5 1/2") scored at 4 1/4" Panel: 4" x 5 1/4" Basic white panel (inside): 4" x 5 1/4", and scrap for sentiment Watercolor paper (6" x 6") should be enough to stamp and die-cut the images. Stamp and punch the sentiment, then use a sponge dauber or blending brush to apply color ...

Roll of the Die Episode 4

Hello, Stampers!  The ROTD team is back again this month to share with you what we created with the elements from the Roll of the Die. In addition, sketchers continue to popularize water coloring as a wonderful way to add life and color to drawings of the world around them. This monthly observance encourages people to paint with watercolor. It’s also a good time to raise awareness about the importance of art and creativity ever...

Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set.  This card was created for a "sunflower" themed card swap for a swap group I'm in on Facebook called, The Card Shack.  It also gave me the opportunity to put ink to stamp.  In this card, I used masking, heat embossing, and water coloring...yes, water coloring, techniques to create this simple card. I started by stamping the image on the left with Versafine Clair Pinecone.  I created a mask, covered the first image then stamped the second...I had a little too much space (or so I thought) but kept on going by masking the second image and stamping the third.  If I had wanted the middle image to be in the forefront, then I would have stamped and masked it first then stamped the left and right sunflower image. Because of the drying time of the Versafine Clair, I was still able to add clear embossing powder over the complete image then heat set it with the heating t...
