Roll of the Die #2

Hey, Stampers! This month's Roll of the Die is all about the masculine figures in our lives... fathers, brothers, uncles, nephews, etc...and with Father's Day around the corner, it seemed most appropriate to feature them.  Our participating demonstrators this month are: Kathy Ervin, Michelle Hollins, and yes, me. When we rolled the dies to determine what should be included in today's cards, we got: clean and simple, paper piecing, layers, and embellishment(s)...and this is in addition to the masculine theme.  Well, if you are familiar with clean and simple, you'll know that this was a little bit of a task.  Well, I did my best to produce these cards and I hope you'll like them.  Leave me a comment to let me know how I did.  Measurements: Basic white: A2 (4 1/4" x 5 1/2"); (2) 3 3/4" x 5", (2) 4" x 5 1/4" DSP: scrap World of Good  Using the Layering Diorahma dies (I used the 4th die), I used the Stampin' Cut n Emboss machine and cr

Sweet Floral Happiness Abounds in Opulance

Well. Stamping Friends! Welcome and thank you for joining me for another Stamping with Friends Blog Hop!  If you are new to my blog,  Stamping with Friends is a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators who share our love of card making with you through monthly blog hops with various themes. If you are following the hop, then you'll have just popped over from Kristie Wilson 's  blog.  I hope you took a minute to leave a comment for her as I'm sure she'll appreciate it just as much as I will.  If you are starting the hop with me, thank you so much and I hope you enjoy what I and the other hoppers have prepared for you today!  The theme for today's hop is "Flowers". I chose to start using products from the newly released 2022-2023 Annual Catalog so today's card features the Happiness Abounds Bundle and two of the new In-colors: Parakeet Party and Sweet Sorbet.  I also used a new technique that I'd learned in the Creativate Spring '2022 Retreat call

Sweets Sunday Stampers OnTour Card Swap

Every Sunday (well, mostly every Sunday), I get crafty with a wonderfully talented group of ladies...several of whom are also Stampin' Up! demonstrators.  And even though we are in several different cities/states (Austin, San Antonio, Buda and Kyle, Texas/ New York, Wyoming), we tend to participate in a lot of the same events.  This time, six of us participated in Stampin' Up!'s OnTour last month and five of us decided to participate in a swap.  The rules of the swap were: 1) must use the Free stamp set, 2) must use any (or all) of the 2020-2022 retiring In-colors; 3) more than 1 layer and 4) use an embellishment. The participating demonstrators were: Sharon Coleman, Kathy Ervin, Michelle Hollins, Cheryl Robinson, and me.  Cheryl and I got the Bottled Happiness set (158684), Kathy and Michelle got the  Good  Feelings  stamp set (158737), and Sharon got the Limited Edition (#158754).  Take a look at what we created. Cheryl Robinson  Cheryl used Granny Apple Green, Bumblebe
