I hope you are truly enjoying the Roll of the Die series that I bring to you monthly, because I surely do enjoy doing them...the creativity, the comraderie, the friendships, and the community. This month, the elements included: sponging, over-the-top, sympathy, die-cuts, and using colors from the Stampin' Up! Brights collection. My style of cardmaking is generally simple yet elegant so "over-the-top" was a little challenging for me...especially when paired with sympathy. Oi' ve! I initially made this card...it met all of the elements, but then I thought with the time constraints, I wouldn't have time to demonstrate it properly during the video. This card I used the copper foil and the retired Soaring Swallows Bundle So I came up with another idea that I demonstrated on YouTube. I used vellum for the floral image and the artistic elements from the Soaring Swallows Bundle. Which do you like the best? If you weren't able to catch the live, click on the video...
