Delicate Dahlia - Stamping with Friends Blog Hop

Welcome back to another Stamping with Friends Blog Hop!   We are a group of Independent Demonstrators with Stampin' Up! who enjoy paper crafting and sharing our creations with each other and with you! Each month, the group administrator has several opportunities for us to participate in hops...I had to participate in this one...it's blogger's choice.  Well, the last hop (8/7/2021 - Favorite Sale-a-Bration Item) I shared with you featured the Delicate Dahlia Set (pg 14 of the Sale-a-Bration catalog). In that blog post, I told you that one of the main reasons I loved this set was its versatility.  I also told you that I'd post other projects featuring other coloring methods. Well...I'm delivering on my post...AND... I'm giving you a 2 for 1.  I'm using the August 10, 2021 SplitCoastStampers Color Challenge CC856 ( Granny and her  Flamingo   Bee-Bopping to Melodies ) which features Stampin' Up! ink colors: Granny Apple Green, Flirty Flamingo, and Mango M...

My Favorite Sale-A-Bration Item

Hello, Stampers! Thanks for stopping by to visit me on another Stamping with Friends Blog hop! We are a group of Independent Demonstrators with Stampin' Up! who enjoy paper crafting and sharing our creations with each other and with you!  Oh boy!  So much has happened...by now, if you are a VIP customer of mine, you should have received your copies of the new July - December 2021 Mini and the Sale-A-Bration (SAB) catalogs. (Note: if you don't have the catalogs, don't have a demonstrator, and would like to, I'd be more than happy to send you a catalog*.) Guess what, all items in both catalogs became available for ordering on Tuesday, August 3, 2021. Leave me a comment and let me know what your favorite item is in the Sale-A-Bration catalog. So, one of my favorite items from the SAB catalog was the Delicate Dahlias set, but I'd never grown them nor had I ever seen one in person (not that I can recall anyway), so I wasn't quite sure about their colors.  So I went...

Ink To Stamps - Simply Soft

It's time for another, Ink to Stamps creation. A couple of months ago, I cleared out my craft room and with the assistance of several of my crafty friends who love to organize, I cleared out the space, and I am totally rediscovering gems from yesteryear.  I believe this one was a Hostess set from 2012. I know I wasn't a Stampin' Up! demonstrator then, so I must have seen someone create something wonderful with it, wanted it, got it, and promptly put it on the shelf and did nothing with it...til now...silly wabbit!   So where did I begin? As I seem to be doing more lately, I turned to Splitcoast Stampers to generate thoughts and ideas.  I follow the Color Challenges, the Sketch Challenges, the Clean and Simple Challenges so that's where I started: the 4/5/2021 CAS, titled "Flower Power" (CAS632) and the 7/24/2021 Color Challenge (CC853), titled "An Evening Smelling Mint Roses" (Evening Evergreen, Mint Macaron and Rococo Rose). Take a look at what I cr...
