June Sketch and Color Inspiration

Hey, stampers!  Check out this month's creative inspiration.  Don't forget to share what you've created with me. Happy Stamping! Creative Inspiration with a Sketch Here's this month's sketch: And here's the project it inspired: Say "hello" to a friend with this bright card featuring artistic loose watercolor floral stamped elements. Two round flowers from the Artistically Inked Cling Stamp Set were stamped on Basic White Cardstock using Berry Burst Classic Ink, and one double leaf element was stamped on Basic White in Shaded Spruce. The stamped elements were cut out using the coordinating Artistic Dies. The "hello" sentiment from the same stamp set was stamped in Berry Burst to the left-hand side of a Basic White circle cut using the 2⅜" Circle Punch. One of the stamped flower elements was adhered directly to the lower right-hand side of the circle. The leaf element was attached to the back of the other flower, and the two combin...

Roll of the Die #14

Hello Stampin friends! It's that time again! Time for another Roll of the Die. What is "roll of the die" you may ask? Well, I purchased these stamping dies from Tada Moments on Etsy. There are five (5) dies in the set and each die has different stamping elements on them such as color family, technique, theme, etc. Tamra is a Stampin' Up! demonstrator so the dies have some Stampin' Up! specific references. So here goes... The dies rolled Sympathy, monochromatic, neutrals, layering, and bling. Usually, "bling" and "sympathy" are not a typical pairing, so this tends to stump me a little. For my color palette, I chose the following colors: Check out the YouTube video to see how I made this card. Measurements: Base: A2  5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Mat Layer: 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4"

Roll of the Die #13 - Cheerful Daisies

Well, another successful Roll of the Die episode.  I hope you were able to watch live, but if you weren't that's ok. You can still watch the video on YouTube. Oh, and by the way, while you are there, don't forget to Like the video, Share the video, Subscribe to my channel, and click the notification bell and you'll be notified when I post new content. Last month, the dies rolled: friendship, DSP/foil etc, In-Color, Embossing, and Die-cutting.  I whiffled and waffled so many times deciding what to do until I received this swap card, from Sharon Coleman and that's when the final project took flight...just in time too...LOL  So now that I had the basic inspiration...what now? Well, I knew I wanted to make an easel fold card and I wanted to use one of the new 2023 - 2025 In Colors™, Copper Clay, and the rest as they say, was sugar on top. This card was oodles of fun and I hope you'll try it too. Measurements: Card base: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scored at 4 1/4...
