Ahhhh...a new year and a new blog hop. Hello everyone, and welcome back! It's the first Saturday of the month...time for another Stamping With Friends Blog Hop! Thank you for joining us! If you are new to my blog, Stamping with Friends is a group of Stampin' Up!® demonstrators worldwide who share our love of card-making through monthly blog hops with various themes. If you are following the hop, you'll have just popped over from Ginny Harrell - Celebrate the Journey (US) blog. I hope you took a minute to leave a comment for her as I'm sure she'll appreciate it as much as I will. If you are starting the hop with me, thank you so much and I hope you enjoy what I and the other hoppers have prepared for you today
This month, our theme is to create a Stepper card. Here's the card I made for you today.
The colors I used:
Measurements: Base (Berry Burst): 7" x 11"
Mat Layer (Bubble Bath): (If you prefer 1/4" borders you can adjust accordingly)
- (2) 3 3/8" x 5 3/8"
- 1 3/8" x 3 3/8"
- 2 3/8" x 3 3/8
Designer Series Paper (DSP)
- 3 1/4" x 5 1/4"
- 1 1/4" x 3 1/4"
Instructions:
On the 7" side: align cardstock at the 3 1/2" mark and lightly draw a line from top to bottom Turn the cardstock 90 degrees, align the paper at 5 1/2", and score to meet the pencil mark.
Turn cardstock 180 degrees and score at 1 1/2", 2 1/2", 5 (typo on the template), 8" and 9 1/2"
Fold and burnish the 5 1/2" scoreline
Mountain Fold the 1 1/2", 5" and 9 1/2" scoreline
Valley Fold the 2 1/2" and the 8"
Decorate and embellish as you wish.
