It's High Tide...

My stamp set of choice this week, was +Stampin' Up! High Tide, a new release in our Occasions 2017 Catalog.

I created three card projects with this stamp set and I'm working on a fourth, as the idea for it just popped into my head...this one using the Stamp Set "A Beautiful You", also from the Occasions Catalog...more to follow.

High Tide has 16 photopolymer stamps, 2 of which you can use to do a little two-step stamping. I've tried to show you some of the versatility of the stamp set, although I've utilized the same colors throughout the projects.

In the piece above, I incorporated a little Reflection/Mirror Image Stamping Technique and I must say for the first effort, I didn't do so bad...

In all of the projects, I used the sponging technique...

Stampin' with Friends Blog Hop Vine Design

Hi, so glad you decided to pop in to see what I have in store for you today. This is my inaugural blog hop with Stamping with Friends. Stamping with Friends is a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who enjoy sharing our love of paper crafting in general and for me, more specifically, card making with you. The group hosts two hops every month. The theme for this hop showcases retiring sets, bundles, or products from the January - June 2021 mini catalog that retires at the end of this month. I chose to feature the Vine Design Bundle. I was drawn to this bundle for many reasons; first, the die cuts are elegant and can stand alone to create a beautiful, simple yet elegant card, second, the sentiments also make it a very versatile set that covers multiple occasions, and third, I could see the possibilities with one of my favorite masking and blending techniques.
