Imagination At Play Color Challenge - Week of March 16, 2018

Today's card project is based on a color challenge from a Facebook group that I'm in, Imagination At Play.  I normally haven't been able to participate in the challenges, or if I do, I just haven't found the time to blog about them.  Well, I've decided, a change is just about due.  Not only will I participate in the challenges, BUT...I will blog about them AND create a video.  Oh man, what have I just committed myself too...let's have a go then...
The color challenge for the week of March 16, 2018: use Stampin' Up! colors: Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay, Whisper White and Lemon Lime Twist.  Here's the card I came up with.  What do you think?

It's a single-layered card (and I don't count the card base as a layer), standard A2 size card.  I mostly use 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scored at 4 1/4".  I just prefer a right to left opening card versus a bottom to top opening card.

There's a bit of second generation stamping as well as heat embossing.  I enjoyed the simplicity of this card.

Comment with your favorite Stampin' Up! Stamp Set from the Sale-A-Bration catalog and be entered into a drawing to receive this card!

Happy Stampin'!

Hello Fall Y'all! - Pretty Pumpkins

Welcome and Happy Fall Y'all! Thanks for stopping by Sweets' Stampin' Creations, where I share card  projects created using Stampin' Up! products.  It's time for another Stamping With Friends blog hop!  I'm hopping with some awesome paper crafters and stampers from the Stamping With Friends Facebook Group.  For this post, it's all about Fall. I love this time of year...although I live in Texas and don't get to experience the changing of the seasons as dramatically as my college years when I lived in Worcester, MA...I still remember the colors of the season and the changing of temperatures from hot to cool (not cold).    Fall, the time of the year between Summer and Winter (usually between September and December) heralds in pumpkin season (pumpkin spice, pumpkin pie...you get the drift), soup season, leaves changing colors, cooler weather, apple picking (I've never done that), etc. T here are so many ways to celebrate this season of the year.  ...
