Blessings of Home

Another full stampin' weekend! Despite a few technical difficulties, Stampin' Up!'s OnStage At Home 2021 was a success.

What is OnStage you may ask? Every year, in preparation for the upcoming catalog...in this case, the January - June 2022 Mini Catalog...Stampin' Up! hosts an event to debut some of the new products, offer some refresher training to current demonstrators, and recognize the top earners in the Stampin' Up! year.  When you register for OnStage, you are given the opportunity to purchase some items in the upcoming catalog that will be used in the Make and Take session.

This year, that bundle was the Blessings of Home Bundle, a part of the Heart & Home Collection. In a FB Live, I  re-create two of the cards from the Make and Take session using the bundle. You'll see the original version and then my "stepped up" version of the cards.  Don't for get to subscribe to my YouTube channel and click the notification bell 🛎 to be notified when I upload new videos.

If you have FOMO, you may just want to consider becoming a demonstrator...and now is the time to do that
.  If you've been pondering becoming a Stampin' Up! demonstrator--either for the discount or to start a business? Now is the time...instead of the standard $99 USD Starter Kit—which is already a steal of a deal—aspiring demonstrators can snatch up a completely custom Starter Kit for only $75 USD. What an absolutely unbeatable bargain for a box with a value of $125 USD!
From 4–30 November 2021, you’ll be able to start your Stampin’ Up! business strong—and with big savings! I'd love to have you start your stamping journey with me.

Just a quick reminder that the Seasonal Sale starts tomorrow! Check out the annual catalog and create your wish list of cardstock, dies, and ink pads.

I hope these and the other projects serve to inspire your creativity.   Speaking of catalogs, if you don't have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and would like a catalog, reach out to me. I'd love to get one out to you and to serve as your demonstrator. For my contribution to this blog hop, I chose the "In the Moment" set. I fell in love with this set, "In The Moment", the moment I opened my order and saw it.  This was another of the FREE swag bag produc...

Stampin' with Friends Technique Blog Hop - Masking

Hi there, Stamping Friends!  It's time for another Stamping with Friends Blog Hop.  As you know, Stamping with Friends is a group of Stampin' Up! Independent Demonstrators who enjoy paper crafting, creating cards, and other projects to share with each other and with you. If you've arrived from Karen's blog, welcome!  This time, the theme is to create a card or project based on a favorite technique.  There are sooooo many techniques that I love but with this project, I'm going to focus mainly on two.  Can you guess what one of them is? Yup, you guessed it...masking!  There're so many things you can do with this technique from: simple masking to creating seamless backgrounds and adding depth...hmmm, I think I've decided to do a blog series focusing on the different things you can do with masking. For this post, I chose to start with a simple spotlight masking technique. Let me show you how I created this card. Now I incorporated several other techniques (dry ...

Stampin' with Friends Blog Hop Vine Design

Hi, so glad you decided to pop in to see what I have in store for you today.   This is my inaugural blog hop with Stamping with Friends. Stamping with Friends is a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who enjoy sharing our love of paper crafting in general and for me, more specifically, card making with you. The group hosts two hops every month.   The theme for this hop showcases retiring sets, bundles, or products from the January - June 2021 mini catalog that retires at the end of this month.  I chose to feature the Vine Design Bundle. I was drawn to this bundle for many reasons; first, the die cuts are elegant and can stand alone to create a beautiful, simple yet elegant card, second, the sentiments also make it a very versatile set that covers multiple occasions, and third, I could see the possibilities with one of my favorite masking and blending techniques. I hope you enjoy this hop and the cards I created to share with you. This first card highlights the m...
