Hello friends! It's time for another Stamping with Friends Blog hop! For those of you who are unfamiliar, Stamping with Friends is a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators who share our love of card making with you through monthly blog hops with various themes. If you are following the hop, then you'll have just popped over from Libby Fens' blog. I hope you took a minute to leave a comment for her as I'm sure she'll appreciate it just as much as I will. If you are starting the hop with me, thank you so much and I hope you enjoy what I and the other hoppers have prepared for you today!
The theme for this hop is Spring/Easter...two seasons/occasions that I love. I couldn't decide on either so I decided to create a couple of cards that can be used as either a Spring card or an Easter card. The star of the show for both cards was the Daffodil Daydream Bundle. I absolutely love this bundle. The stamp set includes seven cling-mounted gorgeous line-art images that are perfect not only for watercoloring, but any coloring medium to include the Stampin' Up! Soft Pastels.
With this 24-piece intricate die set, you can build beautiful monochromatic or multi-colored daffodil flowers
In the first card, I showcase the Designer Series Paper that was available as a freebie in the Sale-a-Bration catalog (no longer available). Each of the prints reminded me of Spring/Easter so I would have been remiss if I didn't use it. So I apologize that by the time this post goes live, it will no longer be available in my online store. But I do still have few available a couple of 6x6 packs from my paper share...ask me about it...As I said, I let the paper do the talking in this image. This was a card I made from a kit I purchased from fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, Candy Rattray (Sweet Stamper), so I won't share the instructions...but it's pretty easy and simple to make...take a look...
The next card I made for this hop also uses the Daffodil Daydreams Bundle. This one involved a little coloring...but yet still easy to make. I used the Stampin' Up! Soft Pastels as my coloring medium and the blender pens to add color to the floral images. I created this card for my February Card Class and it's available for purchase. There are two sentiments in this bundle, "Easter Blessings" and "Happy Mother's Day". The Stampin' Up! artists have pretty much told you two occasions for this stamp, but it can be used for so much more...birthday, sympathy, thinking of you...you name it!
So what do you think?

Clue #1: I’m a delicious treat on the tip of your tongue. Creamy yet dairy-free is the life for me. Strawberries, watermelon, raspberries, oh my! Just blend a little fruit juice, water, and sugar for a frozen surprise. What’s my name?
What's your guess?? (Remember SU LOOOOOVES alliteration!)
Are you ready? Beginning 23 March - 2 May 2022 it's time for another Stampin' Up! Last-Chance Product sale. Stay tuned! Remember, the offer is valid while supplies last only, so grab your catalogs and start making a list. You may very well find some of your items deeply discounted.
