This month’s theme is a Bridge Fold card! Now, I’ll be honest—I used to run for the hills when I saw this fold. We just didn’t get along. But hey, they say what doesn’t k!ll you makes you stronger, right? So grab your paper trimmer and let’s bridge this crafty gap together! I watched several videos over and over until I found one that kept it so simple, even I could follow it...

Here are the measurements and cutting and scoring instructions:

Base: 4 1/4" x 8" scored on the 8" side: 1 1/4", 2 1/2", 5 1/2", and 6 3/4" (note: if you turn the card, you can repeat the 1 1/4" and 2 1/2" scores)
-Bridging Element: 1 3/4" x 5 1/4:
-Inside: Neutral or DSP: 2 3/4" x 4"
      Inside Mat Layer: 2 7/8" x 4 1/8"
- (2) DSP: 1" x 4"
      Mat layer: (2) 1 1/8" x 4 1/8:

Here are a couple of others made using these measurements!

Check out the video to see how I put it all together.

The Brushed with Beauty Suite Collection features beautiful floral designs and a color palette of muted shades, with two stamp and die bundles for even more creative potential.

The Petals of Beauty Bundle combines coordinating stamps and dies that allow you to create layered, dimensional blooms and foliage, with Two-Step Stampin' features meaning you can create even more realistic detail and texture in your floral elements.

The Beautiful Pattern Embossing Folder is a subtle diamond eyelet texture, guaranteed to add elegance to any project. The Pearls of Beauty embellishments in Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake, and White are a perfect finishing touch. Lastly, this suite brings back a favorite product - vellum, in 12" x 12" sheets. Its translucent nature makes it indispensable for delicate layering, and when you combine it with our embossing folders you can create really unique design elements.

Don't delay ordering if something catches your eye as these new items are initially available while supplies last!

November's new products will be the first to come in our new redesigned packaging. Both photopolymer stamps and dies will come in sleeker and slimmer clear plastic envelopes that measure 5⅝" x 9" or 14.3 x 22.9 cm). Die packages will now also feature printed artwork for much easier identification and organization, and the larger size will mean more stamp artwork can be shown at 100%.

Hello, all! Thank you for joining me for another Stamping with Friends Blog Hop! For those of you who are unfamiliar, Stamping with Friends is a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators who share our love of card making with you through monthly blog hops with various themes.  This month, we are sharing with you sneak peeks from the January - June 2022 Mini Catalog.  If you've come from  Mo Rootes'  blog, then you saw her project using the  Stampin' Up! Simply Marbleous Designer Series Paper (DSP) . I hope these and the other projects serve to inspire your creativity.   Speaking of catalogs, if you don't have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and would like a catalog, reach out to me. I'd love to get one out to you and to serve as your demonstrator. For my contribution to this blog hop, I chose the "In the Moment" set. I fell in love with this set, "In The Moment", the moment I opened my order and saw it.  This was another of the FREE swag bag produc...

Stampin' with Friends Technique Blog Hop - Masking

Hi there, Stamping Friends!  It's time for another Stamping with Friends Blog Hop.  As you know, Stamping with Friends is a group of Stampin' Up! Independent Demonstrators who enjoy paper crafting, creating cards, and other projects to share with each other and with you. If you've arrived from Karen's blog, welcome!  This time, the theme is to create a card or project based on a favorite technique.  There are sooooo many techniques that I love but with this project, I'm going to focus mainly on two.  Can you guess what one of them is? Yup, you guessed it...masking!  There're so many things you can do with this technique from: simple masking to creating seamless backgrounds and adding depth...hmmm, I think I've decided to do a blog series focusing on the different things you can do with masking. For this post, I chose to start with a simple spotlight masking technique. Let me show you how I created this card. Now I incorporated several other techniques (dry ...

Stampin' with Friends Blog Hop Vine Design

Hi, so glad you decided to pop in to see what I have in store for you today.   This is my inaugural blog hop with Stamping with Friends. Stamping with Friends is a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who enjoy sharing our love of paper crafting in general and for me, more specifically, card making with you. The group hosts two hops every month.   The theme for this hop showcases retiring sets, bundles, or products from the January - June 2021 mini catalog that retires at the end of this month.  I chose to feature the Vine Design Bundle. I was drawn to this bundle for many reasons; first, the die cuts are elegant and can stand alone to create a beautiful, simple yet elegant card, second, the sentiments also make it a very versatile set that covers multiple occasions, and third, I could see the possibilities with one of my favorite masking and blending techniques. I hope you enjoy this hop and the cards I created to share with you. This first card highlights the m...
