Have you ever played Tic-Tac-Toe? I remember playing as a kid for hours on end trying to find the best strategy to win...I loved it!!! So searching through Pinterest, I've come across Tic-Tac-Toe boards for crafting...specifically cardmaking, and was hooked on them. So last year I said to myself, why don't you create some boards...so I did! I started creating Tic Tac Toe boards to challenge myself to use products or techniques etc in combinations that may be unlikely or unusual to create cards and decided to share them. I'm on my 3rd one. You can find them on my Pinterest board.
My ultimate goal is to create a card using each possible combination on the board...I'm not quite there yet. The card I chose to create used the Diagonal path using: Stencils-Ink, Floral, and Ribbon.
I've recently developed a love of layering stencils and although I love the ones from Altenew, I find them a little challenging. Then I discovered the Pink Fresh Studio layering stencil and their coordinating products. You can purchase the layering stencils, coordinating stamp, and coordinating die (Note: I am not affiliated with Pink Fresh Studio and do not make any money from talking about their products). I chose the "Sweet Friend" collection for this project. The beauty of these layering stencils is that each panel is numbered so that you pretty much which to use and when...it was just easier for this brain of mine to compute. After I stenciled, I used the coordinating stamp to add the outline. I love this!
